While there will be no “next Bitcoin”, there will be blockchain technologies and cryptocurrencies filling specific niches, providing specific solutions to specific problems… making things better. Right now, NEO is taking the needed steps towards a “mightier blockchain developer ecosysytem”.

I purchased NEO a few weeks back when it was worth $27. It has since climbed to over $40, and the image shows its price as of the time of publication of this article.

In addition to NEO’s dev competition, NEO has made several recent announcements that have sent the coin price up, including the use of NEO on the Ontology platform, a new distributed trust network by Onchain ( https://www.onchain.com/en-us/ ).
Despite the price jump, NEO has received some criticism. Appearing on GitHub, this article raises at least 6 arguable points regarding the value (or not) of NEO, which is responded to on Medium by Malcolm Lerider.
My opinion… ?
In addition to all the great announcements and progress NEO has made, because NEO is NOT fractional, and thus cannot be purchased fractionally…
